Working in pediatric dentistry gives me a feeling of great satisfaction and fulfillment. I feel so happy to affect so many children’s lives and attitudes in a positive way — giving them motivation and knowledge to develop and maintain a healthy smile!
I love seeing and working with all children. Each has a unique personality, and each is a puzzle to solve. I look forward to learning what motivates each child and how to connect with him or her in a manner that reassures and builds trust.
One of the most rewarding aspects of my profession is knowing how to approach an initially apprehensive young child. I observe, listen, and remain patient as I figure out how to help them feel at ease in a new environment.
The reward comes when the child relaxes, starts to happily and freely engage with my staff and me, and then smiles. That smile, and the trust it conveys, is all the motivation I need!
